What Makes Math Nation Unique?
Check out our features and all the courses we have to offer!
Each topic and lesson provides engaging videos aligned to the student Course Workbook. For our A/G/A (Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2) courses, students can choose from a diverse set of Study Experts that provide different teaching styles to match various learning styles. For our 6/7/8 (Middle Grades), students and teachers have engaging videos for every lesson, including warm-ups, activities, practice problems, glossary terms, and more.
Course Workbooks (all courses) are a primary resource for introducing students to concepts (with videos). The Student Practice Book (available only for A/G/A) contains a Student Learning Plan for each section and a set of practice problems for each topic to provide students even more practice! This video provides a quick overview, but visit our “How Teachers Use Math Nation” section for different ways teachers use our videos, books, and other resources to differentiate instruction.
Students can get homework help and virtual tutoring at night and on weekends on our interactive Student Wall! Students earn Karma Points when they help other students answer questions and earn prizes each month. Students can also convert their Karma Points into Community Service credit (please see the “Wait there’s more!” folder in the Student Area for more information)!
Math Nation’s iPhone, iPad, and Android apps are free and second to none in usability and accessibility. Our app works on devices up to six years old. Students are able to download videos on their mobile devices while at school so they can watch them later offline when they may not have internet access. Additionally, the digital textbook for our middle grades courses is fully available on mobile apps.
